Hello again my adventurous friends! Have you figured out how to make the best of March yet? It’s easy to stay cozy during March as you wait out the last bits of winter, but I encourage you to explore what Bellevue has to offer this month. There’s lots to do every month, but St. Patrick’s Day adds another level of excitement to the city in March. If you’re still searching for some exciting ways to spend St. Patrick’s Day, or for some almost-Spring-but-not-quite activities, you came to the right blog!
The third week of March boasts St. Patrick’s Day and lots of exciting activities to celebrate. If you don’t know where to begin with all of Bellevue’s activities, let me get you started.
-St. Patrick’s Day at Paddy Coyne’s Pub- Enjoy delicious Irish cuisine and all day entertainment at Bellevue’s own Irish Pub! Performances start at 12pm and go all day long, so don’t miss out on celebrating St. Patty’s at Paddy Coyne’s!
-Pub Crawl with King County Firefighters- From 12pm - 9:30pm follow a bagpipe and drum band of firefighters through a pub crawl! Starting in Redmond and ending at Tavern Hall in Bellevue, there’s no better way to spend St. Patrick’s Day than at a pub with some pipes and drums.
-Take Advantage of St. Patrick’s Day Luck at RBE- Feeling lucky? Try your hand at one of our escape room experiences! Come by and find our new leprechaun friend and solve his riddle for 10% your next game. I’d recommend the Lucky Duck Speakeasy, fitting with the theme of luck and drinking!
But what to do for the rest of March? For month-long excitement and chances to connect with friends, get involved with March Madness this year! If you’re a sports fan and your bracket is already pristine, venture out to some local bars to watch with friends. Tavern Hall has thirty televisions for you to catch the game on, shuffleboard, and lots of great food options.
You can also come join us with Bellevue Chamber at RBE Team Events in North Bellevue on April 3rd for a Final Four watch party! We’ll have food, drinks, escape games, Pop-A-Shot, prizes and will be watching the final game. Final Four Watch Party Info & Tickets
If sports isn’t your thing, there’s still so much to do in Bellevue! Catch Bellevue Youth Symphony performances on March 19th or 20th and support young orchestras. Forum Social House hosts weekly trivia nights on Wednesdays to give you that bit of fun to get you through the rest of your week. If you catch a bit of sun during this month, take a day to go hunting for cherry blossoms, and finish it off with ice cream at Molly Moon’s, just steps away from Downtown Bellevue Park!
With so much to do in Bellevue, we hope you enjoy an adventurous March! If you come see us or try one of these events, please share your adventures with us on social media @realitybreakescapes, we’d love to see what fun March offers you all.
