Have you tried hosting a Customer Appreciation Event?

Customer appreciation gifts are nice but throwing an engaging customer event will blow them away!

Customer appreciation gifts are nice but throwing an engaging customer event will blow them away!

The attention given to customers through an event is more captivating and heartfelt than a thank you or holiday card, especially if you have never met face-to-face.

It is a great way to strengthen your relationships with your current clients and encourage them to bring in new referrals. It’s also a great opportunity to show your gratitude and showcase your company’s work culture.

Some of the value that client appreciation events can bring to your company:

  • Shows gratitude and appreciation for your clients
  • Shows that your customers are meaningful to you
  • Creates loyalty
  • Source for referrals and growing your business
  • Embraces the company’s values

An appreciation event will give your customers a positive experience, reinforcing to them that they made the right decision with your company.

While developing your brand, these kinds of events will create a strong connection with your customers making it more likely that they will buy from you again or refer you to others.

How do you plan a successful Customer Appreciation Event?

Know your Demographic.

Who is your customer base? Are they families? Singles? Colleagues?

When inviting people, reach out to prospects that you want as a customer as well.  Remember your previous customers too, they are important and will appreciate that you included them.

Bites & Bevs

Everyone loves food and drinks! Have a variety of snacks, appetizers and drinks can be non-alcoholic or the 21+ kind.

Keep it Social.

Remember this is an appreciation event, not a networking one. Most of the people attending are already your customers.  Have your business cards out or available but this is one time to NOT "Always Be Selling".

Mingle!

You don’t want to give your full focus on just one or two customers. Try to meet most, if not everyone, in attendance. This is why you’re hosting an appreciation event!  Staff the event well to ensure quality time for your team to meet your customers and build a better connection.

Picture it

Capturing memorable moments of your event will be great for marketing in the future and in a "Thank You For Attending" follow-up.
